Error in purlem but not during installaion, How to solve the errors?

Hi,

I have upgraded my joomla 1.5 to joomla 1.7 using JUpgrade but locally not in the live site. I am doing it locally so i used WAMP server.

But for the live site i am using FTP and its currently joomla 1.5.

While installing purlem component locally in joomla 1.7 i didnt get any error during installing but when i get into that component after installation i am getting so many errors. I don't know why. How to solve these error. I have attached the errors.

Hi Uma,

That is strange.  So if I understand you correctly, when you installed on the local Version 1.7, you didn't receive any errors.  But on the live version 1.5 you are?  is that correct?

I would like to be able to re-create these errors so I can try and correct them for you.  Would you be okay with providing me with your FTP information and Joomla login?  That way I can try to fix the error directly.  You can email me at mthomas@purlem.com.

Thanks for your response.

I think you got confused. I have installed purlem locally not in the live site. I have installed in joomla 1.7(locally) not in joomla 1.5(live site). I am getting these error in joomla 1.7(locally). I have not installed in joomla 1.5.

I couldn't really tell what the error "Notice" exactly was in the image you attached.  Would you be able to copy that line and paste it here for me?

Thanks.. that helps. I attached a revised component zip.  Would you mind uninstalling the Purlem component and then re-installing the attached?

We might have to go back and forth a couple times to get this solved.  We can bypass that if you would like to provide me with an FTP.

But in the live site i didn't get any erros. Only in local server i am getting errors. But it works awesome in live site. In future if i got any erros in live site. I will get back to you.

Ya.. the errors are showing up on your local server because your PHP configuration is set to display error notices (likely with E_ALL)

Regardless, it is something that should be fixed.  Thanks for pointing it out to me...
